I'm sure this has been asked a million times but I didn't see it. I'm relatively new to Mac software so thought this would be a good place to ask.

My DVD movie library is growing but when I travel I have to leave almost all of it at home. I'd like to burn my movies to my external hard drive and then access them either directly or through iTunes. I am familiar with programs for Windows like "AnyDVD" that will burn anything under the sun. Is there something similar for the Mac? If so can you give me some ideas?

Rest assured this is not software I am going to use to pirate or otherwise profit from. I'm simply looking to digitize my personal DVD library.
