Text File Corruption, List View, & Playing WMA Files (?)

that somewhere. But I tried the one I have (kept for sentimental reasons), and
I couldn't drag it into iTunes' main window or "import" it. I just tried with a couple
randomly snatched from LimeWire, and they wouldn't go in, either. That may be
due to my having PPC's Macs under 10.4.11 -- YMMV with Wintel and 10.5.

As for converters, the OP wanted free. I know a couple that are cheap: Switch
was $28 last I looked.

I did test it with the Windoze version of iTunes using the "Add to Library..." command and it imported and concerted it to AAC. I remember it doing the same thing on my MacBook Pro. I don't really use "drag and drop", but rather the "Add to Library..." command. I don't know if that will make a difference or not.
