Can anyone confirm if the application Final Cut Express resolve all the above issues and at the same time is as easy/intuitive to use as say iPhoto for the purpose that Barbara mentions?

ie. •Configurable slide show resolution & not limited as mention for
iPhoto to only 3 default sizes
•No lost of picture quality or the introduction of transitional type
artifacts as so often happens

I'm presuming here that FCExpress is a glorified version of iMovie (since the dumbing down of iMovie); that FCExpress is easy to use for the purpose that Barbara requires w/o getting into learning curve of its movie making features.

If so, then it may possibly be worthwhile for some people here to use that instead.
