I'm a used book dealer who's been using an increasingly antique iMac, running system 10.3.9, and selling books on Alibris utilizing a bookseller database called Homebase. I downloaded it from ABE [a bookseller site] several years ago, and the only Mac version was this system 9 one. It worked OK, though annoying in many respects. I'm obviously no database wizard - it did what I needed, let me catalogue books, upload deletions and changes. Well, I just bought a new Mac Mini running 10.6.2, and it's amazingly fast and cool and all that, but it won't run any system 9 applications. I just assumed there would be an emulator for these legacy pieces of software.
Anyway, since I need this for my business, I need to know a) if there's a modern Mac bookseller database that will let me migrate my data over [some 4000 catalogue entries] or

if there is some emulator out there that will let me run the old software. Let me add that my experience with databases is limited to this one, so things that might seem crashingly obvious may be unknown to me.
Thanks,
Keith Peterson
