Has anyone else had diabolical trouble when ordering books etc from Macworld?

I'm extremely frustrated. I ordered a birthday present a month in advance.

I was informed my order was received on May 20th and despatched on May 23.

I still have no order.

Two weeks ago Macworld told me to give it another week.

Last week I wrote again and nobody bothered to reply.

Be warned, the Macworld service stinks.
